The Day of Aesthetic Promotion

"Those born on December 31st are drawn towards aesthetic experiences of many types. In their careers they often work to promote beauty or harmony in one form or another. Indeed, many December 31st people display what amounts to a worship of literature, art, and music. But since making something beautiful often involves first getting rid of ugliness those born on this day can also be concerned with locatiing, exposing and eliminating disturbing elements in the world around them. "
from this Birthday book "the secret language of Birthdays" which i was given a long time ago, and haven't looked at in a while.

I just got really sick of seeing the old journal post up there, so i decided i should update.
I'm done with my exams, now i just have a paper left. I need to figure out a way to relate a bunch of mostly not so great books, from both sides of the political fence, and all just as nuts. I dont think "all people who have strong enough views to write rambling books on it are crazy and should not be listened to" flies as a topic. I'm thinking of writing about how they are all subtly telling us that we should move to the moon and restart society. :) Because my TA would laugh her ass off (whatever that mean.... i've been trying to find the etymology of that idiom)
But more seriously, i think the topic will be about how all of the books are in some way trying to define what humanity is. and are all failing

dA has been awesome lately, cause more people seem to be looking at my stuff, thanks you all, and thanks for all the comments - i read them all, but i dont always get to respond. and i've found more in-person-friends from school have accounts, so that's been lots of fun (so much better than facebook :P )

anyway, the may cause dizziness warning label on my medicine is proving correct.

Happy holidays.

I've been climbing so much that all the tendons and muscles in my body hurt - but its been awesome. Now i head to New York City. I'm going to miss my rock climbing gym a lot, cause working there has been awesome. :(
New York will be awesome though.
